Wine delivered right to your door? What could be better? If you join the Wine Access Club, you’ll receive four carefully selected cases of wine per year, each containing six bottles. Wine Access is convenient because it cuts down on time and money spent browsing shelves. They stand out because they have professionals who sample and study over 20,000 wines annually to determine which ones are the best. The wines you get will have been hand-picked by Wine Access’s experts, with only one out of every eighteen bottles making the cut. Also, it’s a fun opportunity to broaden your wine horizons and try something new.

What’s Included With Each Wine Access Box?

It’s a big deal when Wine Access sends you a package. This box looks like any other on the outside. The six wines contained within the box, however, have triumphed over thousands of others in terms of both flavor and price. That’s just amazing. There are different areas and styles in each shipment from Wine Access, but there is always a central theme to help you learn more about the world of wine. Of course, that’s assuming you want to.

The wine tasting experience can be maximized with the help of the collectible wine tasting guides that come with each bottle. Wine qualities, recommended meal combinations, regions of origin, and interesting backstories about the process of making wine from vine to grape to glass are all covered. You can score the wine and provide some tasting notes about the appearance, aroma, and mouthfeel of the wine on the reverse of each card.

They also invite you to add your own personal story to the bottle, such as who you enjoyed the wine with and on what occasion, so that you can reflect on how your own experience connects to that of the bottle in the future. It’s a terrific way to keep track of your favorite bottles and, if you keep notes over time, to see if your tastes have changed or if the wine has changed over the years.

One of their wine specialists will lead you through a taste, showcasing the wine and the story behind its journey into the bottle, in a series of films available on their website. Moreover, Wine Access is a wonderful option to bring the tasting room into your own home if you are still hesitant about leaving your house during a pandemic.

Ciliegiolo, whose name means “cherry” in Italian, is an old grape that dates back to the 1600s and was brought back to life around ten years ago by Leonardo Bussolettie at his vineyard in Narni, Umbria, whose postal code is 05035. James Suckling, an Italian wine specialist, gave this medium-bodied wine a solid 90 points and said that it has “Lots of drenched, compote-like fruit here, such as red-plum essence and raspberry.” Wild spices and herbs are also detectable. Pizza lovers, this one’s for you.

ABOUT THE WINE:

This wine has flavors of apples, limes, and peaches, and it’s fresh, ripe, flowery, mineral-rich, and crisp because it was matured in stainless steel barrels in Spain’s northwest. Albario is a wine that should be consumed quickly after purchase; it does not improve with age. It’s versatile enough to enjoy with a wide range of cuisines, but it shines when paired with sushi, ceviche, grilled lobster, creamy shellfish, or spicy Thai or Indian fare.
