My overall thoughts on the Second Nature diet
I am proud of how well I have been following the diet so far. When I cook for myself, I never feel deprived or have to worry about whether or not I’m sticking to my diet plan or not, and when I eat out, I don’t give it much thought at all.
Eating out on Slimming World was challenging for me as a vegetarian because the only options were bland salads or jacket potatoes topped with baked beans and cheese.
Salads that include things like pine nuts, olive oil, or sundried tomatoes would be considered off-plan, making it more difficult to calculate the syns.
According to Second Nature, I don’t need to keep track of these details, and they should properly fit into my strategy. I could enjoy meals away from home without feeling guilty about it.
Would I recommend the diet?
The fact that the Second Nature diet includes books to assist you to learn about your body and the healthy eating plan they recommend is fantastic.
